Test Administraion Information

The Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) certification exam is available to be taken as a secured, proctored, online test utilizing Prometric’s ProProctor™ system, or at an in-perrson test center. The remote opportunity allows individuals to take the CCXP exam in a safe and secure environment such as their home or office, and is administered via an AI-monitor to facilitate and monitor the exam process. The online exam process maintains the same rigor and validity as taking the test inside of a testing center.

You may also arrange to take the exam by AI-monitor remote proctor at the location of your choice, provided that you can meet necessary technology and testing requirements.

You will need to:

• Provide a personal, Windows-based PC that has suitable camera and microphone systems, that can be disconnected from any docking stations/accessories and for which you have software installation rights, including addressing any firewall issues that may arise.
• Have reliable power and internet connections for the system use throughout the three-hour examination.
• Identify and provide a location that meets security protocols.

Certification exams are administered throughout the year by Prometric/ISO Quality Testing through approximately 800 sites throughout the world. Prometric in-person testing centers are open Monday through Friday during normal business hours, and many offer weekend and evening hours. You may search for the closest Prometric/ISO Quality Testing in-person testing locations online.

If you choose to prefer to take the exam at an In Person Testing Center:

• You may select any of the more than the 800 Prometric/ISO Quality Testing Centers worldwide.
• A suitable testing environment and all necessary equipment will be provided for your testing.
• Scheduling is subject to your testing center hours of operation and availability.
• You will need to fulfill all onsite security measures (e.g., presenting your candidate admission letter, passcode, proper ID, and storing all personal items in a secure locker).
• There is no additional fee for In Person testing - though you are responsible for your own travel and any other associated fees.

The site search tool is not for scheduling your exam, it is only to search for in-person test centers near you and check availability. You will receive instructions on how to schedule your exam via email once your application is approved. 

Step-by-step Instructions For the Site Search Tool

1. Please navigate to https://www.smttest.com/sitesavail/Default.aspx
2. Once on the new page, select the organization (CXPA Customer Experience Professionals Association).
3. Choose your exam - the second listing - CCXP (no parenthenses) is the English version and the fourth listing - CCXP-F is the French version. Please ignore the other listings as they are not active. 
4. Next, choose a start date for the search (this would be a date on which you ideally would like to take the exam) and then click on the blue "apply start date" link. You will need to click on apply start date each time you change the date.
5. In the middle of the page, choose your Country (the page will quickly refresh) and then choose from the list of available cities (page will quickly refresh again) and click the blue "search by country" link.
6. The page will refresh after you click search by country and available locations will appear at the top of the page. Choose a location from the list and the page will automatically refresh.
7. Once the page has refreshed, available dates/times will appear in the box to the right of the listed sites. Dates and times are for that site only. Please choose the next site (if there are others) to see availability for that site
8. If a site list does not appear, then there are either no centers located in your area, or the center is closed and not accepting scheduling. You have the option to take the exam via remote proctor. 
9. This search tool is for in-person test centers only. You will not see availability for remote proctor until you are approved to take the exam.

Please note that you may only register/schedule your exam once your application has been approved and you have been sent a pre-registration notice with your login credentials.
